Sunday is Funday

I had a lovely offer to go with one of my bestest chums to the Piccadilly Market at the Deakin Waterfront Campus. It was lovely! The goods were a bit on the pricy side but cute nonetheless. Here are some pics of the market:

After our market fun we stumbled upon a nifty car show on the waterfront. Ellie and I considered jumping in one and riding into the sunset Thelma and Louise style, but quickly become amused by the large diving bells (or anchors, definitely something nautical).

Then we stopped in a fun shop named Ishka in the downtown of Geelong, Ellie found a really cool fake book to hide treasures (or alcohol) in.

But I know what you all are REALLY wondering: what did I buy? I made a few lovely purchases but some are a friend's birthday gift so I can only show you the things I'm keeping for myself!
First off, Ellie and I both bought wonderfully pretty necklaces made out of old vinyl records. They had some really elaborate designs but I settled for a simple bird:

Visit the vendor's website here.

I also bought some lovely soaps made from goat's milk in Black Raspberry and Creme, Green Tea and Lemongrass, and Patchouli.
See the vendor's FB page here.

So all in all it was a fantastic day! I'll write back soon and let you know more about my fabulous weekend!
