To ombré or not to ombré?

You've been hiding in a bubble if you haven't seen the newest hair trend (hint: it's not a fishtail). The ombré dye job is EVERYWHERE and I want one desperately. Take a look at these lovely ladies:

Now do you see what I'm talking about?? This style is hot! My only concern is the fact that I had my hair dyed brown a couple months ago (apparently trying to lighten over already dyed hair turns it orange, who knew?).
