Top 5 Trends Now!

This is the first time I've spent what would be Spring in the Northern Hemisphere (home!) in Australia, where we are entering autumn. However, the spring trends right now are just too amazing to ignore until it becomes Spring here! Here are the Top 5 Trends that I'm excited about now:

1. Peplum- I will be the first to admit that I was not a peplum fan when it first made it's fashion appearance. However, I have been won over! These waist ruffles add an element of fun to your outfit and when paired with a black dress, can look super chic.

2. Bird Prints- Birds have now replaced leopards and zebras as the most fashionable animal. They're showing up EVERYWHERE in jewelry and clothing, especially dresses. I love this trend because it's just so pretty! I myself have just bought a wonderful necklace of a bird in flight (made form an old record no less!). Everyone would look cute in this new trend.

3. Neon- The 90s are back with a vengeance! Neon is popping up everywhere this season. My favorite place to incorporate neon in your wardrobe is the neon mani. A bright nail color adds a splash of color to any outfit.

4. Pastels- Just in time for Easter, pastels have made a reappearance! I've always loved pastels, they are super girly and very, very pretty. You can bet that my easter dress will be a lovely shade of lilac!

5. Tench Coats- So this may be an exception because have trench coats ever been out of fashion???  The reason I've included them on the list is the fact that now they are in new color palettes, you guessed it - neons and pastels! The trench is a classic style that looks great on just about anyone, a great investment piece.
