So I know I've been MIA, even after promising that I was back for good! Therefore I have a TON of stuff to share with you guys! In order to tell you all about my new found favourite products, I'm doing a series this week called Things I'm loving right now! The title is pretty self explanatory, I'm going to tell you all about the products that I'm using now and want to recommend to you guys! For the first day on going to tell you all about my favorite body products!
Now that's its getting warmer down under, I need a tan! I definitely don't endorse sun baking or going to the tanning bed but I do use self tanners to get my faux glow. The first step to a fab tan is to wash! I know it sounds obvious but a good wash with a loofah will remove all the sweat and dirt and allow your tan to really sink in. I'm loving Avon's watermelon scented body wash, it smells super summery and nice! After you're squeaky clean, you'll need to exfoliate in order to remove all the dead skin and give your tan the nice new skin underneath to hold on to. This will extend the length of your tan and make it less likely to streak. My body scrub of choice is the Margarita Foot Scrub by Beauticontrol. Although its a foot scrub, I use it all over because I find that the larger granules are better at clearing away my dry skin. The smell of this scrub is also amazing and really summery as well! This company also has other products in this scent that I would highly recommend you try. As for my tanner of choice, I definitely recommend the St. Tropez line. It's on the pricey side, about $36 a bottle (an the bottles are not very big) but it give the nicest tan I have ever seen come out of a bottle. It also comes Ina wide variety of application types (foam, spray, lotion, etc.) so you can choose what's best for you. For those who are on more of a budget, I love the Instant Bronze Spray by Face of Australia. It gives a very even violet tinted tan which flatters everyone. For those living outside Australia, Sally Hansen makes a similar product. Just make sure that when you're applying the spray, do not hold it very close to your skin. Hold it a good 8 centimeters from your body or else you risk ending up with zebra stripes!
So that's all for today, make sure to check back tomorrow to see what foods I'm loving at the moment!
